Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 6, 2026
TalkingPets.ai helps you create fun videos of your pets. This policy explains how we handle your data to provide and improve our service. Your privacy is important to us.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Email address (required for account creation and using the service)
- Pet photos and videos you upload or create
- Text you provide for video creation
Technical Data We Collect Automatically
- Service and security data: device/browser information, IP addresses in service requests, job identifiers, and purchase status needed to deliver and protect the service.
- Optional usage analytics: with your permission, Google Analytics and Mixpanel receive feature events and pseudonymous identifiers. These identifiers are not anonymous.
- Optional reliability reports: with your analytics permission, our server receives limited operation outcomes, fixed error categories, platform and app version. Reports exclude emails, receipts, pet content, raw error messages and device identifiers. They help detect broken purchases, restores and app errors. Infrastructure still processes connection data such as IP addresses when receiving requests.
- Optional advertising measurement on the web: with your permission, Meta receives campaign and conversion information, which may include hashed contact information and advertising identifiers. Third-party advertising tracking is disabled in the updated iOS app.
App Permissions
Camera & Photos Access
To create videos with your pet, our app requires access to your device's camera and photo library. This allows you to:
- Take new photos or videos of your pets directly within the app.
- Upload existing photos or videos of your pets from your library.
We use the media you choose within the app. Declining camera access prevents taking a new photo in the app; you may still use another available input method, such as selecting a photo or a sample pet.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain our services, including creating talking pet videos.
- To improve, personalize, and expand our services.
- To understand and analyze how you use our services.
- To communicate with you, including for customer service and to provide you with updates and other information relating to the service.
- For compliance purposes, including enforcing our Terms of Service, or other legal rights, or as may be required by applicable laws and regulations or requested by any judicial process or governmental agency.
Content Sharing
Sharing Your Videos
When you create a video using TalkingPets.ai:
- You will receive a unique link that allows you to share your video.
- Anyone who has this link will be able to view the video.
- You are in control of who you share this link with. Please be mindful when sharing.
Data Storage and Security
Storage and Security Measures
Our service uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) for account and media storage and Google Cloud for certain processing services. This infrastructure includes servers in the United States.
We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Service providers process data needed for the features you use. These include AWS and Google Cloud for infrastructure; AWS for email; Stripe for web payments; Apple and RevenueCat for app purchases and subscription status; and AI providers such as OpenAI, Replicate and ElevenLabs for relevant content-safety, text, image, video or speech features. Your selected content and text may be sent to providers to fulfill a creation request or perform content-safety checks.
Optional analytics and advertising providers are separate from providers needed to deliver your purchase or video. Providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Contact us for information about a particular provider or transfer arrangement.
Your Data Choices & Deletion
Requesting Data Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data associated with your account. You can do this in two ways:
- In-App Request: Choose Delete Account in account settings. We email a short-lived confirmation link to verify ownership. Opening the link alone does not delete anything; you must confirm the request on that page.
- Email Request: Alternatively, email us at coleman@dubbah.co with your deletion request. Please include the email address you used to register for our service to help us locate your data.
After verification, your account is marked for deletion and you receive a request reference. This acknowledgement means cleanup is pending, not complete. We review account records, uploaded/generated media, relevant provider records, and backups/logs. We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any permitted extension or specific retention exception. Payment records required for tax/accounting or narrowly necessary security records may need to be retained separately.
Deleting account data does not automatically cancel a subscription. To stop renewals, manage an Apple subscription in Apple Settings or a web subscription through Billing or support.
You can accept, refuse, or withdraw optional analytics and advertising through All privacy preferences in account settings. Refusing optional tracking does not prevent video creation or purchases. Withdrawal stops future optional reporting; contact us to request deletion of previously collected data. Marketing email preferences and device notification permissions are separate choices.
Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access or correct your data, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to certain processing, and complain to your data protection authority. Contact the email above to exercise these rights; we may need to verify your identity.
Please Note: If you have shared video links with others, those individuals may have saved copies of the videos. We cannot delete copies that are outside of our direct control.
Children's Privacy
Our Policy Towards Children
Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or the relevant age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us at coleman@dubbah.co.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. We may also provide notice through other means, such as in-app notifications, if the changes are material. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
